Nike Giannis Antetokounmpo Shoes

Giannis Antetokounmpo is the first international star to have a signature basketball shoe with Nike. Called the Zoom Freak series, Giannis' signature shoes with Nike first came to market in 2019, with its design helmed by Nike designer Ross Klein. Rather than stick to the traditional formula of naming a shoe after the athlete, Giannis Antetokounmpo's nickname "Greek Freak" was used as inspiration for this rare change of pace. A lot of heartfelt details of his parents, brothers, and family are used to decorate the shoes, with many of the structural components directly influenced by his close-knit relationships.
