The Air Jordan 1 is making quite the comeback this year with a number of different models being released and scheduled to be released throughout the year. It seems Jordan Brand is utilizing the Jordan 1 to tell quite a number of stories, including this first pack dubbed the Opening Day Pack, that celebrates Jordan’s accomplishments on the baseball diamond with color inspiration coming from the Chicago White Sox/Birmingham Barons uniforms. Here is the “Away” pair that features a Black upper as opposed to the “Home” pair that features a White upper. You can cop these now on ebay.

Nike will quickstrike a Carnival based Air Max 90 next week with a wide range of bright Carnival colors. Most interesting is the outsole which features a nice collage of colors. With Brazils Carnival just a little over a week away, this Air Max 90 fits right in. People are already filing into Brazil to see the preparations with the actual Carnival starting February 3rd and 4th. Hang Time has announced that this quickstrike (limited edition) will be dropping at their store in Japan next week. Update: We just got word that these will be a US Quickstrike very soon. Nike seem to be raining in on the outlandish colourways on the Air Max Light, instead treating to us to muted variations such as this recently released White/Pine Green/Obsidian model. With a combination of a suede mudguard, mesh toe box and a subtle touch of white patent leather these are sure to reinstall some much needed faith in future Air Max Lights releases. Available now @ Sneaker Doctor with other stores in the US likely to receive delivery later on in the week.

Since we first talked about the Air Max 1 Friendly Football Pack, a few have already dropped in Asia and one in the US. This most black Air Max 1 is also part of the pack and hasn’t been seen before. The front of the shoe features a nice black perforated leather toebox and a dark army suede piece. A white swoosh, camo heel and orange lining adorn the rest of the shoe. They just dropped in Asia but no word on US or Europe release.

With the Olympics approaching quickly as days pass Nike Asia is celebrating the accomplishments of ‘Team China’ in past Olympics. This Air Max 90 in white, black and gold celebrates Team China of the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles where they won a total of 15 Gold medals. As Nike Asia continues to celebrate Team China, more shoes will drop in this manner over the next few months.

Asia seems to be getting a lot of holiday related sneakers early lately. V-Day Air Force 1s were released pretty early and earlier this week the 2008 Easter Air Max 90 dropped. With some easter pastel colors and a strange distressed brown leather with pink layer they seem to work out pretty nicely. The hint of Easter is in the insole with a painted egg illustration. Though these already hit Asia shops, they should be available in US stores soon.

Also dropping this weekend at your local boutiques are these dope Air max 90 in white, black and vivid blue. They might be mistaken for the Air Max 90 Laser Blue but those are currently available in Europe only. This is perhaps the best Air Max 90 to drop since the History of Air when the OG Infrared Air Max 90s dropped again.
