As a part of the adidas Originals, Sounds of the City, the three stripes have released a Superstar commemorating the late Jam Master Jay of Run DMC. The shoe features a patent leather Black upper mixed with a Gray/Off White sole and of course the legendary Jam Master Jay pictured on the side of the shoe. The shoe hooks up with the matching apparel, as adidas tries to honor one of the first people that put adidas Superstars on the map in the US. Apr 2 · Adidas Stan Smith Vulcaniz (Vulcanized)

The Adidas Stan Smith is a sneaker designed for 1960s tennis star Stan (Stanley Roger) Smith, this year it receives a small make over with a ‘Vulcaniz’ or Vulcanized sole. The term Vulcanized refers to a specific curing process of rubber involving high heat and the addition of sulfur and other equivalent curatives. It is a chemical process in which polymer molecules are linked to other polymer molecules by atomic bridges composed of sulfur atoms or carbon to carbon bonds. The end result is that the springy rubber molecules become cross-linked to a greater or lesser extent. This makes the bulk material harder, much more durable and also more resistant to chemical attack. It also makes the surface of the material smoother and prevents it from sticking to metal or plastic chemical catalysts. While the adidas Stan Smith is a classic with its clean and simple design, this white leather perforated leather should be a nice addition for the Spring and Summer months. This sneaker is of course named after Stan (Stanley Roger) Smith who was an American tennis pro during the early 1960s. Look for this classic at adidas Originals retailers as well as on eBay.

Twenty five years after the introduction of the Adidas Concord, the sneaker makes a come back this year with several dope new colorways involving fresh colors and hits of snakeskin. The above colorway just dropped at retailers and feature an upper of white, red and sand with snakeskin applied on the three stripes and the strap. Look for this colorway at adidas Originals retailers and they are also available on ebay.

The Adidas Top Ten was first released in the early 1970’s as a Basketball sneaker, today they are a classic lifestyle sneaker in the adidas Originals lineup. This low version of the original feature a simple upper with a simple color scheme in a yellow adidas calls Freyel and just a hit of black and white make up the rest of the sneaker. Dec 30 · adidas Originals ZX 700 Boat - Black Suede & Leather

When worn, and with out the signature three stripes one might not believe these are made by adidas. This ZX 700 Boat sneaker/shoe the adidas logo appears on the tongue and is pressed into the sole. The sole of this shoe is from the ZX 700 sneaker but the upper is a brand new silhouette. It would also appear that this is a fairly successful model for adidas, this would be the second release since the Mammoth edition and a third curry leather and suede colorway was recently posted by Crooked Tongues. These should be at your local adidas Originals stores and retailers as well as eBay.
